Under war conditions, the State Emergency Service plays a key role in ensuring the safety of citizens and protecting the country's infrastructure. Prompt response and efficiency of rescuers are decisive factors in preventing threats to life and property.
Understanding the importance of speed and mobility in the work of rescuers, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia in the Vinnytsia region, Ihor Skoromny, with the support of Latvijas Armija, Laura Skrodele and her charity fund Uzēmēci Mieram, Yaroslav Skoromny and the charity Pun Fund, handed over three cars to the Main Directorate of the Civil Service of Ukraine from emergencies in the Vinnytsia region. The transport will be used to perform various tasks to ensure high safety and protection of the population.
Also, the meeting discussed other needs of the units of the State Emergency Service in the Vinnytsia region and the possibility of further assistance from Latvian partners.
